Public Writing that matters!

I'm ridiculously proud of my Public Writing students. This semester, I introduced a service learning model that challenges students to work in groups and use public writing to raise money via crowdfunding campaigns for non-profits, university affiliated outreach programs, or student organizations of their choosing. Each group is also taxed with writing a Digital Media Capstone Project to showcase their efforts and share original research. It's still too early in the semester to start posting results, but I thought I would share this project-in-process because it is indicative of the excellent work being done in my public writing classes.
